Archiving and restoring ideas

Archiving lets you hide ideas from your board without deleting them. Archived ideas remain in your database and can be restored later.

When to archive

Archive ideas that are:

• No longer relevant to your product direction

• Solved by other features

• Not feasible but worth keeping for future reference

How to archive an idea

1. Open the idea from your dashboard or board

2. In the idea admin area, click Archive

The idea is immediately hidden from the public board and admin lists. The action is logged in the activity history.

Restoring archived ideas

To restore an archived idea, locate it in your archived ideas list and click Unarchive. The idea reappears on the board with all its votes and comments intact.
