Making ideas private or public
You can control the visibility of individual ideas by marking them as private. Private ideas are only visible to admins and team members, not to public users on your Ideas Board.
Private ideas require the Privacy plan feature. Check your plan settings if this option isn't available.
Making an idea private
Open the idea from your dashboard
In the visibility section of the idea admin area, toggle Private
The idea immediately disappears from the public board and displays a "Private" tag in the admin view.
When to use private ideas
Private ideas are useful for:
Internal feature requests from your team
Sensitive features not ready to announce
Bug reports you want to track without public visibility
Making an idea public again
Toggle the Private setting off to make the idea visible on your public board again.
You can also set your entire board to private mode in company settings if you only want authenticated users to see ideas.
