What is the Frill Script?

The Frill Script loads Widgets, Surveys, and Boosted Announcements on your website or app. You can install it as a JavaScript snippet, or use the type-safe @frillco/script package when you work in React, Next.js, or other JavaScript frameworks.

What the script enables

Once installed, the Frill Script loads and displays:

• Widgets — Ideas boards, Roadmaps, and Announcements

• Surveys — NPS, CSAT, and polls

• Boosted Announcements — Highlight important updates

You can also identify users by email, name, or custom attributes, which enables segmented content, including Surveys.

Ways to install

Choose the install path that matches your site:

• Script tag — Copy the snippet from Settings > Frill Script and paste it into your HTML. See Installing the Frill Script.

• React / Next.js package — Install @frillco/script and mount the FrillScript component. See Framework integration (React, Vue, Angular, Next.js).

• Google Tag Manager — Add the script through a custom HTML tag. See Installing the Frill Script with Google Tag Manager.
