Marking ideas as bugs

You can mark ideas as bugs to distinguish issue reports from feature requests. This helps you track and prioritize fixes alongside new functionality.

How to mark an idea as a bug

1. Open the idea from your dashboard or board

2. Toggle the Bug option in the idea admin area

The idea displays a bug icon, making it easy to identify in lists and filters. The action is logged in the activity history.

When to use bug marking

Mark ideas as bugs when they describe:

• Broken functionality or errors

• Performance issues

• Unexpected behavior that needs fixing

Keep feature requests unmarked so users can clearly see the difference between improvements and fixes.

Removing the bug marker

Toggle the Bug option off to remove the marker. The activity log shows "Not a bug" to track the change.
