Subscribing to product announcements
Users can subscribe to product announcements to receive emails whenever new updates, features, or changelog entries are published. Announcement subscriptions are managed separately from your standard notification settings.
How to subscribe
When viewing announcements on a Frill board or widget, you'll see a subscribe option. Enter your email address and click Subscribe.
You'll receive a confirmation email. Click the confirmation link to activate your subscription. Without confirmation, you won't receive announcement emails.
Announcement subscriptions require email confirmation to prevent spam and ensure the address is valid.
Managing your subscription
To unsubscribe from announcement emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any announcement email. This will stop announcement notifications without affecting your other Frill notification preferences.
What you'll receive
Once subscribed, you'll receive an email each time a new announcement is published to the board you subscribed to. The email includes:
Announcement title
Summary or full content
Link to view the full announcement
Announcement subscriptions are per-board. If you follow multiple boards, you'll need to subscribe to each one separately.
