How voting works in Frill
Voting lets users upvote ideas to show support and help you identify popular feature requests. The more votes an idea has, the more visible it becomes in your boards and roadmaps.
Who can vote
Logged-in users can upvote ideas by clicking the vote button on any idea card. Each user can vote once per idea. Click again to remove your vote.
Guest users can view vote counts but cannot vote themselves.
Where votes appear
Vote counts display on idea cards across your boards, roadmaps, widgets, and dashboard. Ideas with more votes typically appear higher when sorted by popularity.
Voting restrictions
Users cannot vote on:
Locked ideas
Archived ideas
Merged ideas
Completed ideas
Use votes alongside priority scores to balance customer demand with strategic value when planning your roadmap.
