Emails

Weekly and daily digest emails

Frill sends digest emails to summarize activity and keep you updated without overwhelming your inbox. Users receive a weekly digest, while admins receive a daily digest with moderation tasks.

Weekly Digest (for all users)

The Weekly Digest is sent to all users and includes a summary of activity across ideas you're following or have interacted with. It highlights:

  • New votes on your ideas

  • New comments and replies

  • Status changes

  • Popular ideas from the past week

You can opt in or out of the Weekly Digest in your notification settings. Look for the "Weekly Digest" toggle under each company.

Daily Admin Digest (for admins)

If you're an admin, you'll receive a Daily Admin Digest that summarizes activity requiring your attention, including:

  • Ideas awaiting approval

  • Comments awaiting moderation

  • New user accounts requiring approval

  • Recent activity across all ideas

This digest helps you stay on top of moderation tasks without checking the dashboard constantly.

Digest emails are sent at fixed intervals (weekly for users, daily for admins). You can't customize the frequency, but you can disable them entirely in your settings.

Opting out of digests

To stop receiving digest emails, visit your notification settings and toggle off the "Weekly Digest" or "Daily Admin Digest" option.
