Connecting Jira to Frill
Connect Jira to create issues directly from Frill ideas. Issues include the idea title, description, and a link back to Frill for context.
You'll need admin permissions in Frill and access to a Jira Cloud instance. The integration works with Jira Cloud only, not Jira Server or Data Center.
Connect Jira
Go to Settings > Company > Integrations in your Frill dashboard
Find Jira and click Connect Jira
Authorize Frill to access your Jira Cloud instance
Select your Jira cloud from the dropdown
Choose the project where issues will be created
Select the issue type (e.g., Task, Bug, Story)
Click Save
Test the connection
Click Send Test to create a sample issue in your selected Jira project. Check Jira to confirm the test issue appears with a link back to Frill.
Send ideas to Jira
From any idea page, scroll to the Integrations section and click Send to Jira. Frill creates a new issue with the idea's title as the summary and description as the body. A link to the Frill idea is included for reference.
Sent ideas show activity on the idea page with a link to the Jira issue, making it easy to track progress.
