Customization & Branding

Setting up a custom domain

Use a custom domain (like feedback.yourcompany.com) for your Frill workspace instead of the default yourcompany.frill.co address. This gives your feedback portal a more professional, branded URL.

Configure your custom domain

  1. Go to Settings (click your profile avatar in the top-right)

  2. Click Custom Domains

  3. Enter your subdomain (e.g., feedback.yourcompany.com)

  4. Click Save

Frill will provide DNS records that you need to add to your domain provider's settings.

Add DNS records

Copy the DNS records shown in Frill and add them to your domain provider (like Cloudflare, GoDaddy, or Namecheap). You'll typically need to add TXT, CNAME, and DKIM records for full verification.

Use the copy buttons next to each record for exact values. Frill also provides links to setup guides for common DNS providers.

DNS propagation can take 10-15 minutes but may take up to 48 hours in some cases. The status indicator will show when verification is complete.

Verify your domain

After adding the DNS records, Frill automatically checks verification every 20 seconds. The status indicators for DNS, SSL, TXT, CNAME, and DKIM will turn green when ready.

Once verified, your custom domain is active and users will be redirected to it automatically.

If you use SSO, make sure your authentication redirect URLs are updated to use the new custom domain.
